This is an official paper guide of the County Borough of Brighton 1950-51, entitled 'Brighton in Colour'. The guide includes a list of accommodation, a map of Brighton attached in the centre and information on entertainment and sport in Brighton. The last section of the guide is a variety of colour pictures of attractions in Brighton. Printed on the front cover of the guide is a painting of Regency ladies and gentlemen in Kemp Town, Brighton. The guide was published by Brighton Publicity Committee and designed and written by Brighton Corporation Publicity Department, all of which was produced under the general supervision of C.G. Browne, the Director of Publicity of Brighton Corporation. The guide was printed by Jarrold and Sons Ltd. in Norwich.
