This is an albumen photographic tourist print collected by the Stanford family showing the archaeological remains of sculptures, mainly heads and feet, with one relief showing two dancing girls. The artefacts are from Selinute, an abandoned Greek city with ruins of an acropolis and numerous temples; the city was founded in the seventh century BC and destroyed in 409 BC, and is located on the southwest coast of Sicily. Printed in a band below the bottom edge of the print is the location of the museum, PALERMO MUSEO-FRAMMENTI SELINUNTINE- F. PELOS,C.V.E.No 313 PALERMO, and the albumen print number 107
