This photographic print shows two tanks parked inside the Indian Gate of the Royal Pavilion, Brighton. The photograph was taken during the second world war, and may have been part of a fundraising drive for the war effort. While a large crowd stands behind a rope barrier, several schoolchildren can be seen clambering over the tanks. Two servicemen are visible standing in front of the tank on the left hand side of the photograph.
