Summary: Born in 1925, Eileen Senior was born and brought up in Kent. She was evacuated to Suffolk and Devon in the early years of the war. After finishing school, she came to Brighton to train as a teacher at the Municipal College. During this time she volunteered for local hospital duties for the Red Cross and spent a few weeks on special duties at Sompting Camp.
