Shows the Anthaeum shortly before it collapsed in August 1833. Inscribed at the back: The Athaeum built by Mr Gold[...]. Fell down 30th August, 1833. The dome was said to be 8000 feet in circumference, larger than the dome of St Peter's at Rome.
