Description (Object or Artwork): This photographic print shows alms houses in Stanmer Village, Brighton. A man can be seen working on one of the windows on the right of the photograph. The photograph was commissoned by the Borough Surveyor's department of Brighton Borough Council. It was amongst a number taken of the area which were presumably used to survey the condition of the buildings.
