This rectangular earthenware plaque is transfer printed with the text: "Prepare to Meet Thy God" in large letters. Over this is a rather chunky angel with a trumpet and the inscription: "In the Lord do I put my trust; let me never be confounded; Psa XXX. Ver.1.". The moulded border is decorated with blotched pink lustre.
