This tiered bowl stands on a foot ring and is clear glazed overall. It is decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt. The design on the outside features a band of decoration around the rim with three curving dragons with swirling tails. There is another, less deep band of enamelled decoration inside the rim with flowers and beasts, and a flowering sprig in the bottom. The bowl has a sticker attached to the base with the name of the Qing Dynasty emperor Kangxi. It is therefore presumed that this bowl was made during his reign.
