Description: Photographic print of Lewes Road showing the railway bridge on the Brighton to Lewes line where it crosses the road in Moulsecoomb. This bridge is also known as Lewes Road Viaduct: not to be confused with the viaduct a mile further south on the Brighton to Kemp Town line that was demolished in the late 1970s/early 1980s. The print is captioned 'Lewes Road'.

This image is from an album featuring views of Brighton and Sussex dating to the mid to late 1890s. A handwritten message on a label on the cover page reads 'To Father + Mother', 'A Birthday Present from their affectionate son', 'W.H.J.'. Towns and villages that feature in the album include Arundel, Barcombe Mills, Brighton, Broadwater, Hamsey, Hassocks and Southwick. Members of the family appear in a couple of the photographs.
