Description:

This is a silver model of St. Peter's Church Brighton. The plaque on the front of the wooden base is engraved with 'Presented to the Rev.d Thomas Cooke M.A. as a token of respect and esteem on his voluntary resignation of the incumbency held by him from the consecration of the church on the 25th of January 1828 until the 31st of March 1873. After which St. Peter's became the Parish Church of Brighton.' St. Peter's Church was built in the 1820s and is situated between York Place and Richmond Place. It became Brighton's Parish Church in 1873.
