This photographic print was made by the Borough Surveyor's department. It shows the roundabout at the western end of Marine Parade. The entrance of the Aquarium can be seen on the left. A permanent dolphinarium had been in place here since 1969. Concerns for the creatures' welfare led to the removal of the dolphins when the Aquarium became the Sea Life Centre in 1991.
