Summary: Born in 1923, Arthur Cleveland worked in the Process Department at the Brighton Herald at the beginning of the war. He volunteered for the Home Guard until he was old enough to join the Army and eventually was able to sign up for the Armoured Division of the Brigade of Guards in 1942. He served with them until he returned to Brighton in 1947.
