"Intermediate Type" Middle or Late Saxon loom weight of baked clay found at Old Erringham near Shoreham. 130mm diameter; 40mm thick. Excavated by Brighton & Hove Archaeological Society in February 1964 and presented to Sussex Archaeological Society. Lent to Brighton Museum & Art Gallery in 1965.
