Large colour print showing cricket match played on the Royal Cricket Ground, (where Park Crescent is now). Tent bearing the name Sussex Cricket Club to the right. St Peter's church in background with Hudson's mill on right and others in the distance. Spectators in foreground facing toward viewer. They are all named in an annotated plan (see FA203210). Views of Brighton are shown in some detail. In the centre distance St Peter's Church and the houses of Pavilion Parade and Lewes Road. The gates with lions on the top are seen with a horse and carriage coming from Union Road. The railway Station can be seen to the right and the buildings to the west are shown below it.
