This animal figure is one of a pair in the museum's collection. The figures are modelled as cats, wearing chintz kimonos and lace bonnets. They are made in enamelled faience and have green glass eyes. The figures were designed by Emile Galle around 1880 and are used to illustrate the history of modern design.
