The photographer?s address is printed below the photograph 38, Dover St, Mayfair, London, W. Vere Benett-Stanford has signed the original photograph across the bottom right hand corner. The photographic print copy includes a small newspaper article of Lt Vere receiving the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry during heavy shellfire, saving the lives of two wounded men.
