Description (Object or Artwork): View of Marine Parade looking east. The entrance to the New Steine can be seen on the left and the sweep of the Parade and cliffs. The retaining sea wall having been built between 1827 and 1837. There are some people paddling on the the right of the print and many more standing and talking with some street vendors in the foreground on left. Far left is a man with a ladder propping it up against the street lamp. Chain Pier can be seen in the distance.
