Description (Object or Artwork): Patriot Place was one of the streets leading off Carlton Hill. The print shows the Academy building on the right with a curved sign over the road behind which are some boys playing with hoops. There is a man walking at the side of the garden wall, his shadow on the wall on the right. On the left is a wall and post with a metal lamp standard with trees and bushes behind. Below the print is written 'By Mr Goodale. Young gentlemen are comfortably Boarded and Instructed in the various branches of Arithmetic. Penmanship etc at 23 Guineas per annum'.
