Description (Object or Artwork): View looking east towards the pier; a man and woman holding an umbrella are on the viewing platform on the right and two men are behind them with a dog. A man and a boy are facing the pier. To the left is the toll house at the entrance to the pier. On the right is a sailing boat with two sails and two men in it the steam boat is at the south end of the pier. In between the title is a small engraving of the view along the pier from the south end to the land. In this print the waterwheel has been removed.
