Man in coat and top hat looking at sundial with woman in crinoline standing beside. Funnel from steam boat with smoke pouring from chimmney to left. Group of figures including woman with a patterned shawl standing near funnel. Beneath pulley woman with arms crossed seated on bench, between a man, arms folded to left and young girl to right. Figure of a soldier standing arm in arm with woman looking towards the town. Far right a figure of a man with telescope looking out to sea right, woman and small boy standing beside him.
