Description (Object or Artwork): Ruins of the blockhouse which stood at the bottom of East Street with other houses beside on top of a rocky mound. This slightly enlarged copy includes an extra building on the left and right. Instead of two men on the left there is one man walking with a stick. Alexander Hogg was sued for copying from Grose's "Antiquities" and Boswell was accused of stealing the text.
