Engraved by Newman & Co./48 Watling Street, London. In pencil, marked on the reverse is the phrase: 'Duplicate' St Mary's Hall, Eastern Road was built in 1836 by G. Basevi and founded by the Rev.d Henry Venn Elliott as a school for the daughters of clergymen.
