This case of two mounted Barnacle Geese shows the specimens in a setting that is a recreation of their natural surroundings.
The adult male bird was collected in January 1896, on the river between Old and New Shoreham, Sussex. It was presented by Messrs. Pratt and Sons. The other was obtained by W McGillivray J.P. in the Outer Hebrides and was presented by him in June 1913.
