Description: Depicts a half-length, female figure moulded in low relief. Believed to be the figure of Elizabeth Canning, a maidservant abducted in 1753 and forced into prostitution. Lead-glazed and oxide-coloured earthenware, made in Staffordshire, 1755-60. Part of the 'Crime' theme in the Willett Collection.
