Pearlware, enamelled and gilt. Decorated on one side between looped chains and groups of arms, masks and musical instruments, an unidentified grisaille portrait plaque (and the monogram 'TF'). On the other, a shield with a tiny cityscape and distinctive church spires. At the base of each handle inscribed in gilt, 'HW' and '1979 Lichfield'. Made in Staffordshire, 1797. Part of the architecture theme in the Willett Collection.
