Enamelled pearlware figure group decpicting a tiger mauling a man wearing the uniform of a British soldier. This group was inspired by the dramatic death of Munro in 1792 on a deer hunting expedition in Mysore, southern India. Made in Staffordshire, c1825. Part of the Field Sports theme in the Willett Collection of Popular Pottery
