Description (Object or Artwork): Monochrome photographic print of Kemp Town Station Coal Yard, Coalbrook Road, Brighton. This view looks north towards Evelyn Terrace and the Race Course builidngs on the skyline and shows the entrance to the tunnel under the chalk cliffs at the northern end of the station yard. From October 1941 until May 1944 the tunnel was used as a store for rail stock and was made available for use as an air-raid shelter.
