A long silver sword in a scabbard with attached rope strap. The sword handle is made from wood covered with silver and has a metal blade. The scabbard is also made of wood covered with silver. The hilt and scabbard are decorated with patterns and textured metalwork. The rope handle was probably coloured red originally but this has faded to a dirty orange colour.
