This earthenware plate is lithographically printed in black with the "Homemaker" pattern - fashionable items of furniture, plant pots etc. It was designed by Enid Seeney for Ridgway around 1955. The plate was purchased by Brighton Museum in 2000 and is used to illustrate the history of modern design.
