Description: A monochrome photographic print showing a view down the Nmai River. This river is one of the main rivers that runs through northern Burma. It converges with the Mali River to form the Irrawaddy.

This photograph was taken by James Henry Green, a recruiting officer for the Burma Rifles who spent more than twenty years in Burma, much of it based in the northern hill states.
