This photographic print was made by the Borough Surveyor's department. It shows work in progress on the modernisation of Brighton Aquarium. This view is looking west towards the original clock at the entrance. The summer crowds are clearly visible on Madeira Drive and Marine Parade to the left and right of the picture.
