This photographic print was made by the Borough Surveyor's department during the modernisation of Brighton Aquarium. It is a view taken of the eastern section of the site, looking east along Madeira Drive. Numerous buildings can be seen in the process of demolition. These were replaced by a colonnaded walkway.
