This postcard shows numerous Indian and British soldiers standing in the grounds of the Royal Pavilion, Brighton. Between December 1914 and January 1916, the Royal Pavilion was used as a hospital for Indian troops injured in the First World War. This postcard appears to have been produced for commemorative purposes.
