Burma image, WA0342. Lashi girl H & S.
'Their [Lashi peoples'] kit, particularly that of the women, is quite different from that of any of their neighbours. They claim to have originally come from Mung-Kiung in China. I believe that they have come from the east, that they are intruders in the Nmai Valley and are probably a Lolo or Muso tribe' [dissertation, 1934:232-233]
