Glass plate negative bearing an image of the waterpit on North Farm Hill between Findon and Chanctonbury Ring (looking uphill). Associated envelope marked 'North Farm Hill. Findon-Chanctonbury WATERPIT, 21st July, 1929. (1). Looking downhill, 11.30 am. sun among high light clouds L.V. 1/8, f22 / 1/8 sec, gave 1/5 sec, Ordinary subject. TRY LIGHT FOREGROUND NEXT TIME (2). Looking uphill 3.30 pm. same sun with clouds. L.V. 1/4 to 1/6. f16 / 1/8 sec, gave 1/5 TRY AS ABOVE NEXT TIME. Both said to be slightly overexposed'. Envelope also numbered '78'. See HA909012 for plate '(1)' and envelope.
