Glass plate negative bearing an image of the waterpit in Fox-Down Valley, Findon (looking sideways). Associated envelope marked 'Fox-Down Valley, Findon, WATERPIT, 21st July, 1929 (1) Looking uphill. 1.40 pm. (2) Looking sideways. 1.50 pm. Sun among high light clouds, but not covered, as at Chanctonbury-Findon wpt. L.V. 1/8, f22 / 1/8 sec, gave 1/5 sec. Plates said to be slightly over exposed, but, in strong light, they show detail in deepest shadows.' Envelope also numbered '79'. See HA909014 for plate '(1)'.
