Partially reconstructed ox skull. From the Iron Age and Romano-British settlement at Slonk Hill near Shoreham excavated by Brighton & Hove Archaeological Society between 1969 and 1974. These ox remains were found in 1972 and are believed to date to the Middle Iron Age, 400 BCE - 100 BCE.
