View of the hospital from an oblique angle showing part of the town of Brighton to the north west. A man seated in a cart pulled by two horses is passing by the hospital, with six separate images of Brighton depicted within the frame. The building was designed by Charles Barry in 1825, finished in 1828. Many additions have subsequently been made.
