Description: Image on the mug depicts an adulterous couple, the wife's lover kneels on the ground, having been caught by the husband, branded a cuckold by the horns of a Welsh tailor's goat in the picture on the wall. Song-sheet on the wall is entitled 'THE/ Cuckold Maker/ CAUGHT/ A New SONG'. Creamware, printed and enamelled, probably made in Yorkshire, c1795. Part of the 'Domestic Incidents' theme in the Willett Collection.
