Description: This case of two mounted Black-Winged Stilts shows the specimens in a setting that is a recreation of its natural surroundings.

The immature bird was collected about a mile inland in the marsh at West St Leonards, East Sussex, in October 1910. It was bought by John Bruce Nichols, and on his death it was given to the Booth Museum.
